Latest Updates from Our Project:

We're now officially Blue Fox's highest backed Kickstarter!
about 4 years ago – Tue, Mar 03, 2020 at 01:15:35 PM

Hi,

I got an email this morning from Kickstarter. It wasn't an email I'd had before. It was because we'd hit our 352 backer! Why 352? Because Kickstarter is nothing but quirky!

It was a nice way to start the day - breaking a record. And now, coming towards the end of the same day, we've done it again, and topped our total amount pledged for a Kickstarter campaign. Fortunately, I was sitting down when I realised.

Kickstarter's take a lot of planning, and you genuinely don't know how it's going to be received. It could have been for nothing. Fortunately, you turned out in force, and myself and Adam are over the moon.

But why stop there? I wanted to ask, if you have a moment, that if you're a member of an online Lovecraft community, perhaps you could spend a minute and give us a share there? No pressure, but it'll genuinely help.

Anyway, if days are going to be as exciting as this, I'm going to need some sleep.

Speak soon,

Simon

PS. Adam and I are talking about the next book...

Sharing the Love...craft!

Hi,

Okay, apologies for the pun. No, really. :)

As I type this, we're top of the most popular comic projects on Kickstarter - so thank you all for helping!

I'll be letting you know about some more unique opportunities coming up in the project soon, but for today I wanted to shine the light on a project from one of my friends which has ties to Lovecraft.

Daughter of Titan

Richard Mooney is the writer of 'Daughter of Titan', which has the tagline of:

"Alena Amar is the descendant of the world's last superhero, which helps when dealing with a shady government and Lovecraftian monsters!"

All 3 issues are available, and with only 4 days left to run, it's worth checking out!

To view the campaign, click either the image above or the link below.

See you tomorrow!

The Cthulhu Mini-Fig is now available! And a poll for your favourite Lovecraft story!
about 4 years ago – Sat, Feb 29, 2020 at 11:43:56 AM

Hi,

Thank you all so much for responding to yesterday's post and commenting you'd be interested in receiving the Cthulhu Mini-Fig!

I'm please to say the response has been so great that it is now available to add-on.

If you're unsure how to change your pledge to include extra items, please take a look at the image below:

Also, a Lovecraft poll!

Considering the success of this Kickstarter, I'm interested to hear your thoughts on your favourite Lovecraft story you'd like to see as a graphic novel.

We can't promise anything, but we'd be interested to see the results...!

Just comment on this post with the name of the story you'd like to see as a graphic novel, and we'll put our thinking caps on.

We're 91% funded after 24 hours! PLUS Cthulhu Lego Minifig
about 4 years ago – Fri, Feb 28, 2020 at 12:56:43 PM

Hi,

Didn't we do well!

Thank you for backing us and getting us so close to reaching our goal!

We're 24 hours in, but still have 48 hours left in our earlybird deal - and spread the word around - the link to the Facebook ad is below - tag a friend who'd like it, or give it a share - as many eyeballs we get on it the more likely we'll fund more stretch goals!

https://www.facebook.com/BlueFoxComics/posts/1088599294866235

PLUS! I'd like to get your feedback on whether or not you'd be interested in getting a Cthulhu Lego Mini-Fig as an add-on. See the image below;

Cthulhu could be yours to own and pose!

The price would be £15 (about $20). If you think you'd be interested, please leave a reply on this update. If I get enough replies, then it'll become a reality!

Simon
