First Stretch Goal - and we've already hit it!
about 4 years ago – Wed, Mar 11, 2020 at 02:40:01 PM

Hi,

I wanted to let you know our first stretch goal is a beautiful print by Lyndon White, and the great news is, we've already hit the £10K goal!

This means every physical backer will receive one of these lovely prints with their book!

Art by Lyndon White

I hope you like it! Let me know in the comments!

Also, are prints your thing? Would you like to have more as stretch goals by different artists?

We are also looking at getting some beer mats/cardboard coasters as another stretch goal, and perhaps another bookmark design. Let me know what you think of these ideas.

Hardback Edition Available NOW!
about 4 years ago – Mon, Mar 09, 2020 at 12:46:22 PM

Hi,

Following overwhelmingly positive feedback from our previous update, I'm pleased to announce the hardback is now available. See the image below for more details:

So, to give you some examples:

If you are on the £12 reward tier and have already added £15 for the minifig, select the new £20 hardback reward tier, make sure the postage is correct, and then add the £15 for the minifig.

If you're currently backing the book plate tier there is no hardback tier, as it's a limited reward. In this case, to upgrade your softback to a hardback, add £9, £10 or £11 for UK, Europe and the Rest of the World respectively.

If you want to keep your softcover, and add an additional hardback, add £21, £22 or £23 for UK, Europe and the Rest of the World respectively. If you want to add 2 additional hardbacks, it'd be an extra £42, £44 or £46 depending on where you live.

I hope this makes sense. Please ask me questions if it's not clear!

Best wishes,

Simon

Hardback, maybe?
about 4 years ago – Mon, Mar 09, 2020 at 05:48:06 AM

Hi,

Okay, I need your feedback.

Would you like a Hardback edition, for approx. £20 + postage?

Please reply to this update saying you'd potentially upgrade your pledge for one. If I get enough interest, I'll offer it.

See the mock up below - it sure looks great...

Over to you!

Best wishes,

Simon

Additional Copies of the Book
about 4 years ago – Sat, Mar 07, 2020 at 01:27:32 AM

Hi,

I've had this question a few times now, so I thought I'd send out an update on it!

You can purchase additional copies of the book by adding £12 for each copy. So, if you just wanted 1 extra copy, you would add £12; for 2 extra copies add £24, etc.

Please note, you can only purchase add-ons if you've already backed at a physical reward tier. If you've backed at a digital only reward tier, you need to change your reward to at least the "Physical Edition of Mountains of Madness" tier (£12).

Hope that makes sense! Have a great weekend!

New "The Call of Cthulhu" Concertina Book Add-on (plus more)!
about 4 years ago – Thu, Mar 05, 2020 at 12:14:47 PM

Hi,

As the campaign goes from strength to strength, I wanted to offer the Blue Fox Comics Concertina Books as add-ons!

These are £10 each, drawn by the very talented Lyndon White, and include "The Call of Cthulhu". Size is A5 148mm by 210mm, double sided. 740mm by 210mm when folded out.

Also known as an accordion book, concertinas are made from a long sheet of paper that is then folded between two covers. They can either expand outward and kept flat or be read like a normal book. Concertinas tell a story through a series of illustrations that work together to build a complete narrative.

The book serves a duel purpose. It can either sit on your bookshelf as a normal book, or be folded out and display as a piece of artwork.

As well as "The Call of the Cthulhu" book, we have 3 more titles in the series: Inferno, Dracula and The War of the Worlds. Take a look at all of them below.

As before, to add these to your reward, see the image below.
